Since Legion baseball has been played in the Missoula Valley since 1928, the Missoula American Legion baseball team has a deep and complex history dating back nearly 100 years. Over this period of time, thousands of young men, and one young woman, have partaken in Missoula’s Legion program. Despite this lengthy history, prior to this project no formal chronicle of the organization has ever been compiled. In this collection of interviews, completed with former players, coaches, board members, and key volunteers, a portion of the Mavericks' rich past is captured.
